It plugs into a standard outlet, and then the device plugs into it. IntelaVoice™ is made by VOS Systems Inc. of Poway, Calif., and carries a suggested retail price of $29.95. The company also sells a $9.95 external microphone, called the LiteMic™, to amplify the user's voice if the IntelaVoice™ device is in a hard-to-hear spot like behind a couch or under a desk.
